Le Vu, b.2002 in Hanoi, Vietnam, raised between Hanoi and Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand.
Le is an industrial designer who perceives the world through physical touch, finding meaning in the
tangible and exploring the purpose of objects being brought into existence. For Le, the physicality of an
object is what verifies its existence, grounding her approach to design.
Le’s designs bridge Indigenous and traditional influences with contemporary language, aim to create
meaningful, tactile connections between people and objects.
